In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on a unified platform in Europe showed varied performance trends according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps from Google saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $382K by late August. Weekly downloads began at approximately 614K and gradually decreased to 476K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, starting from 314.4M and reaching 302.3M by the quarter's end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained steady weekly downloads, peaking at around 636K in mid-August before dropping to 404K by late September. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 42.1M and ending the quarter at 40.2M.

2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation experienced an increase in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 294K, before settling at 234K by the end. Active users showed a slight rise, peaking at approximately 24.9M in early September.
